the unending nights, the dazzling past; what do they seek? a psuedomiracle. . .

Space had always been kind of boring for the little Jirachi. Even if they felt more at home here, Chroma always wanted to visit planets. But they were always way too nervous and frightened of what the beings on those previously mentioned planets would be like. How would they react if some weird creature just fell from space? Would they be cruel? Do experiments? Oh jeez, that wouldn't be fun at all, and not to mention the star pokemon would probably just end up dead in the end...
'No. No.' They had to stop thinking like that, 'You can and will do this!! The beings on those planets can't be that cruel! Besides, you're a Legendary Pokemon! You can protect yourself if you need to!'
Now, obviously more confident than before, The Jirachi's eyes darted to one of the nearest solar systems, and began speeding towards it, before getting pulled into the orbit of the star, and then using that to propel themselves towards the nicest looking planet. It was green, and had lots of water, unlike the others they had seen.
Now speeding into orbit, the little shooting star pokemon could probably be seen in the sky if anyone looked close enough.

The wind felt immensely refreshing rushing through my feathers, igniting a drive like no other to speed faster through the clouds, away from the earth below that was farther and farther away with each glance downward. I could barely catch my breath up here, the air abrasively gusting over my face. It was a moment before I noticed the creature falling through the sky, yards from where I glided in the clouds.
I tucked my paws into my chest, my two sets of wings surging me forward and carrying me down so I could meet them in the air. My tail followed behind me like a banner as I reared up next to them. The small creature stood out much more on the stark background than I did, as I was nearly invisible among the puffy white clouds. "Hello?" I tried, hoping I would catch their attention. I'd never seen such a specimen in all of my years, but something about them held familiar.

As the new face managed to meet the little pokemon in the air, Chroma had to stop themself, which took quite a bit of effort considering how fast they were actually going in the first place. Shutting their eyes, their ribbons billowed out in front of them at the force of the sudden stop. Soon however, they slowly opened their eyes from their previously closed position, their brilliant blue eyes almost looking like they were full of stars, just like their home.
Instantly getting a bit surprised at the appearance of the other that was in front of them, they flew backwards a bit, not exactly expecting something like this. But their appearance was besides the point. Chroma wasn't expecting to meet a being of this planet this soon, but, despite their anxiety, it'd be rude to just ignore someone. Especially one that barely seemed aggressive.
"Uh, hi!" they nervously replied before giving a tiny wave of a little white hand.
