The thick shroud of darkness permeated the damp air of the caves. Pitch black, the tunnels were long and winding. Small crevices littered the cavern floor, coupled by the cracks in the filthy, mud-ridden walls. It was disgusting, to say the least, the disgusting miasma partnered with the thick humidity only increasing the discomfort inside the caves. The ceilings dripped with dark water, the gentle plop of droplets the only sound audible.
At least, until it appeared.
There was a mass of whispers, hollowed voices hissing in a cacophony of snarls as something darker tread the caverns. Every step clicked against the stone beneath them; wide, unblinking eyes surveying their surroundings. They huffed, the sharp exhale accompanied by more enraged whispers.
"I am not lost," they muttered, a single, boney arm reaching out to grip a nearby stalagmite. Their grip was fierce, knuckles white as they cracked the stone, debris crumbling from their fingers. "Simply wandering. Yes. Wandering. Not all those who wander are lost." Reassuring themselves that they most certainly hadn't lost their way, the ghost-like demon trudged forward, albeit reluctantly.

The young elf took shelter in the cave, as she had wandered quite a ways to return back to her small village. The small opening in the ceiling gave a small shimmer of moonlight that peered slightly on her face. Her emerald eyes, questioning and full of mystery, glanced around the cave while her thoughts raced quietly.
Then suddenly she heard a noise.
Taken aback, she had no weapon to protect herself with. Her broken bow lay in half upon the ground, and she had no arrows left from her close encounter with a band of rabid raccoons. She fumbled for her ruby amulet, and grabbed the pendant with warm hands.
"Tinechor." She whispered. A shield spell.

And the hound rested against the cavern wall, ignorant of the others that were so close but so far out of sight. Branching from the main system of the stony labyrinth was a sub-cavern that ended in a pocket-like dead end. It was here she took shelter, sides heaving and shuddering like the engines of an old, overworked machine. It was clear she had been through some trouble. Scars tattered her blue-furred pelt, littered along with new cuts that wept not blood, but a smokey substance that vanished into the air. Her only light was that coming from the frill along her spine, one of her lizard-like traits. Even then it was dull. She felt so far from home. So far from the stars in the abyss of these caves. And being so far from her home, the dimmer the night sky-like projection in the frill and cells along her legs glowed. How cruel. Being a hound of the stars and cosmos left to wander the bowels of the earth for knows who long. Dread settled firmly in her stomach. Oh... she needed to get out.

(The ref didn't lead anywhere, did you forget a link? Anyway, here is my ref.) The poor elf was now aware of multiple presences in the room. "Manke naa lle?" (where are you?) the elf called out. Dreading to be caught, she quickly stood and ran west into the cave. Upon running a few meters, the sharp senses kicked in and she smelled a hurting beast. Except, the smell of blood that usual came with such a problem, only became clouded with smoke. The girl coughed slightly and treaded lightly towards the scent. Upon walking a few feet, she finally saw the wounded creature. "Mani naa tanya nat'?" (what is that thing?) she pondered. Whatever the creature was, she located the smell of smoke from its body. She approached the creature softly, stopping a foot from away. The elf held out her amulet by the gold it was hanging on. "Amin harmuva tua lle." (I shall help you.) Still reluctant, she waited for a positive reassurance that it was okay to heal the creature.

((Agh. Coding was being a butt. I could've sworn I put the link in. Took a bit of fiddling but I fixed it ^^ I'll probably post once and then wait for cedric to come back on o3o dont wanna go too far without them.))
The beast's ringed eyes darted towards the elven creature, alarm flashing across her celestial features and despite being hurt, her lips curled back to reveal her saber fangs. Claws dug into the dirt below her form. Being the size of a small car, she could crush this intruder if she really wanted to, but her silk-like voice seemed to help calm Riot's nerves. That language, while unfamiliar, didn't seem at all offensive or meant to attack. She relaxed visibly, but remained on edge, still unsure what exactly the other would do. Of course, she could speak, but she didnt exactly like strangers knowing that.

(I understand, I hate it when coding messes up!)
The sudden movement caused her to jump back a bit, and she calmed and tried again. Perhaps this creature did not know elven? What was that language most others spoke... American? No... English? Perhaps. However, her English was very weak. It was worth a try anyway. Once again, grasping at the amulet, she held her hand in a sign of peace that was used amongst her clan: fingers in the shape of a "C", like that of the moon.
"...Help? Needing help?" Was that correct? She pondered it for a minute.
"Elf." She pointed to herself. "Help!" She pointed to the amulet, then to the wounds of the creature.

[Uhh, just a tip, maybe we should take turns? Like, instead of just going ahead without the original poster? might be a good idea. Just my two cents though. So like, it goes Cedric -> Elven Lady -> Neforium -> Me]
Turning a corner in the rather damp cave, the space pokemon's tags glowed faintly, creating a dim light so that they could actually see where they were going. Their ribbons flowed behind them as the floated through the rocky labyrinth, before they suddenly came upon some other presence in the cave, and they automatically zipped over to a nearby stalagmite and hiding behind it in fear. Unfortunately though, their tags still cast a faint glow, and so hiding wasn't very helpful.
Augh, how they got themselves into this mess was beyond them.

Blood.
Within seconds, the face of the shadow legion hissed, several pale eyes opening at once. Their pupils darted, surveying their surroundings. The thick scent was tantalizing, wisp-like limbs protruding from their sides as they began to tread closer to the source of the smell. They were hungry, so terribly hungry, and their mouth watered at the very thought of fresh liver.
"But oh, what do you have here?" they purred. Shifting, their sight directed to a faint glow behind a nearby stalagmite. They could sense another soul, one that was most definitely strong. A soul that belonged to a greater being than a mundane mortal. Tipping their head in curiosity, they lean forward, voice hissing in sharp contrast against the silence.
"Show yourself, being," they demanded. "I have little patience for those who seek to toy with me." Narrowing their multiple eyes, the hulking figure gave a short pause, dark wisps flowing off of their figure. "Or shall I change my form to something more suitable to your tastes?"
((yeah that turn order sounds good!))

{ Ref (Ayla Kurone): click to view}Commissioned visual refs: normal form, alt formAyla is an anthropomorphic winged feline closely resembling a caracal. Their body is covered in a short to medium-length tan/cinnamon brown fur, growing off-white over their muzzle, cheeks, neck and underside. Their black tail is long and fluffy, similar in shape to that of a snow leopard. Their black forearms sport humanlike handpaws, with white retractable claws and fleshy pink pads. Both arms have a ring of off-white just below the elbow joint, separating the black fur from the tan upper arm. A large round notch in their left ear is their most notable facial feature. Their black caracal ears are characteristically tufted. Their hair - also black - is short to medium length, layered and choppy, with a cyan fringe parted over the right side of their rounded face. Their large green eyes are ringed with black and turn silver in their alternate form. They have a small upward cowlick towards the top of their head, similar in shape to a reversed question mark. Ayla is quite chubby with a soft pillow-like belly, although their weight tends to go towards their thighs more often than their gut. Their legs are digitigrade with black, feline feet. Sprouting from their shoulder blades are two large silver wings, tipped with black. They resemble the wings of a seagull and are water resistant. In their alternate form, their wings take on the shape of six sharp, silver blade-like “ribs” that glow hot white when Ayla uses their electromagnetic powers. --- It was cold in here.
Ayla had misjudged that when they decided to go spelunking. You would think that being covered in fur would be enough to warm them on its own. Yeah, if only this fur were thicker.
Aa'n kraa'ga. Wrapping their wings tight around themselves, the cat inwardly cursed their idiocy. Should have brought my jacket and not just a darn chakram. How the heck am I going to use a long-range weapon in a freakin' cave? The knife maybe, but a chakram? Could've at least brought a scarf.
It wasn't the cold that bothered Ayla though. No, they much preferred cooler mid temperate climates for urban exploration over say, fur-matting humidity and heat. What the real problem was in this cave was that it was freakishly, unsettlingly quiet. With their innate sense of hearing, Ayla expected their large sensitive ears to pick up on at least something. A water droplet. A mouse scuttling along the floor. Something more than this surreal, bitter silence. Was this how Earthlings would feel within the temples of Ayla's own planet?
Casting out their senses as they walked, Ayla shivered as they stiffly pulled their wings from their body and raised them half folded, shifting their form and illuminating the cave in a dim white light. Not only would the now metal appendages give them more protection, they would be able to see if any danger was coming.
Or where they were going.
When their silver glowing eyes fell on the ghostly shadow, it was evident that curiosity had killed the cat. Or at least frightened the living daylights out of them. Whatever this thing was, it was large. And right now, Ayla felt very small indeed.
"Garaa'sh!" The cat hissed, backing into a fighting stance as their ears flattened in fear. The cat's tail lashed behind them as their bladed wings sparked with electricity. "Stay back! I'm armed! Not that I want to fight, but I can! If you seemed to think I couldn't, I mean. I'd rather not fight, it's just... well... ohgodwhatamIsayingpleasedon'thurtme."

The sudden noise made the young elf turn and begin to panic. "Yee~" she squeaked, and the energy from the other beings suddenly became stronger. No weapon, a hurt creature, and a horrible sense of dread— her death drew near. "Dina." Be silent. With a determination suddenly taking over, she crouched low and silently stalked around. "Tinechor..." She whispered the shield spell. The small faintly glowing barrier surrounded both her and the creature, leaving her magic draining quickly, but she would help this being— that was her moral.
"Amin Mormerilith." I am Mormerilith. If this was indeed her time, then someone should at least know her name.

((I think that order idea is p great :U Didnt want to post before my time tho ^^; ))
The beast, while injured, felt her blood being pulled through her veins like the raging torrent of a wild river. These veins held a fury. The smell of the malevolent tainted the air in a suffocating musk that clung around her nose... that and what seemed like a feline as well? Oh goodness. She had been alone just moments ago and now it was such a crowd! What a few minutes could do. Her world spun as she hauled herself to her paws, thick claws clicking against the stone floor. Agony tore a feral growl from her throat and her thoughts for a moment became lesser and more primitive. The elf was a friend. The legion... enemy? unknown. Cat unknown. The wounds leaked like steam-pipes, the smoke becoming a soft mist along the floor and pooling in the alcoves in the cave floor. With a shake of her head, the light in this subcavern seemed to grow a deep crimson color, orange lights flickering and dancing with the shadows around the forms of rocky outcroppings. Threatened, a reptilian frill had appeared around her neck, intensifying her appearance and making her seem that much more intimidating. She may be weak, but she wouldn't sit still and take her death quietly if it came.

[Okay, so now it'll be Cedric -> Elven Lady -> Neforium -> Me -> BlackStatic? That sound good?]
Instantly on edge, the Jirachi tried to hide more, but when that proved futile due to the uncontrollable gleam their little tags made. So, even if they were scared, it was probably best to just comply. That was the only way to stay safe, anyways. Hovering out from behind the rock, Chroma tried to stay calm. But the other creature here was terrifying, and honestly, anything that was dark and scary instantly put the little pokemon on edge. Mainly because of their dark-type weakness.
However, the little Jirachi gave a little wave, their tiny body shaking slightly in the air.
